Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving

First off,  I would like to thank the ones that have been here for my family during this very sad time for us.   (You guys know who you are!!!)  We greatly appreciate the ones for calling and checking on us, etc.  I think each day it is getting harder for my mom, especially with Christmas right here at us, and my granddad is extremely lonely right now.  So please keep my mom and granddad and the rest of our family in your prayers.  We are all hurting so much right now.

This year Thanksgiving was such a sad day for my family due to my grandmother's passing.  I know that we have so much to be thankful for and we did have our sweet, little Molly here this year, but it's the little things, like seeing my grandmother's handwriting on all of my recipes that I used for Thanksgiving, not getting our morning call from her, seeing my mom and granddad so upset on Thanksgiving, etc.    (I'm not sure what my mom would do if she didn't have Molly right now!!   She has to see her every day.   It's great therapy for her!)  My grandmother was a truly wonderful woman, and my family misses her tremendously.  I loved my grandmother with all my heart and I know that I will see her again one day.  It still just seems like a horrible nightmare that we are waiting to wake up from.  She lived 38 days from the time we were told she had six months to live.  It all happened so fast!!

Thank you to all 800 visitors for coming and paying your last respects to her.

This was taken two weeks before she passed away...

(I've had a bad night dealing with this, if you can't tell.  I can't help but to just sit here and cry.  I have so many mixed emotions about this right now.)

Happy Thanksgiving!!

I'm so thankful for my little girl!!!!

Fun Times at Lee Lee's

Love them so much!!

Our little family!

Cream potatoes...yummy!

Cousins!!  Marie - 6 months and Molly - 4 months

Molly spent the night with Mom and Dad while we went to the Iron Bowl.   She loves going to spend the night at DD's and Pops' house!  She had her bag and she was ready to go...look, at that big smile!

We couldn't get her there fast enough, so she decided to go herself!  Here she comes, DD and Pops!!  LOL!  :)

I have so many pictures that I will post on Facebook.  Molly is growing like a weed.  She finally rolled over several weeks ago and she has definitely found her vocal cords these last two days.  She is so much fun!!

Pumpkin Patch and more

On Saturday we all went to the Pumpkin Patch.  This is something that we all love to do together, and this year was even more special.

I took 200 pictures at the Pumpkin Patch, so I'll go easy on y'all!!

Molly was thinking..."Gage, what do you think sitting with my DD?!"

We had to take a little break...

Love these two ladies!!

Loved listening to Lee Lee sing to her!!!

Love my mom!

Yesterday at my parents' house...

They all went for a little walk...

Gage loves to find holes to drive his John Deere in because he likes to "burn out" of the holes.

But that time, burning out didn't work.   So after he got out of the hole, he continued to drive in the hole to get stuck...on about the tenth time, this happened...

Yep, he busted the water line!!!!  I had just put the camera down.  I would have gave anything to get his picture when it initially happened.

DD to the rescue!!!  There's not a lot of women out there that would stick their hand down in a hole to try to fix a busted pipe!  And she actually fixed it  - they just didn't have any water to their house until Dad got home to fix it.  But naturally, Gage didn't get in trouble...can we say spoiled?!  I think so!!

Hanging out with her dad in Nashville

After she FINALLY went to sleep...she must not have liked the hotel we were staying in

Gatlinburg Trip

Our Gatlinburg Trip

On Friday, we were told that my grandmother's cancer is back.  It is in her brain, blood, and bones.  She has scans every three months, so this has just popped up within the last three months.  She had been cancer free for months -- no cancer whatsoever was showing up on her scans.  She and my grandfather had a trip planned to the Smokies this week, so for them to get to still come on their trip, we brought them.  It is my mom, Lisa, Molly, my grandparents and myself.  We have had a ball and loved every minute of it.  Please keep our family in your prayers!!!

Also, we are taking Molly to Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt on Monday to meet her new team of doctors, her geneticist, and her dietitian.  Molly was currently going to UAB, but Vandy seems to be so much more up-to-date on everything! They also support a medicine that Molly will get to try at age one to help protect her brain. Not all patients respond to the medicine, but we pray that Molly will be a responder to the mediciation. And if she responds really, really, really good to the mediciation, she may get to eat more of a normal diet...how wonderful would that be!!! Please help us pray that Molly responds to the medicine!

Love it!!!
